A 10-month skill-building program by invitation only delivered southwest of Raleigh, NC on weekends. Up to 12 full-day training events. Includes a mentored hunt if hunt ready.
Open to adults in NC who are new to hunting and lack access to local friends or family to show them how.
Deer Processing
Learn how to process a deer – from field to freezer.
December annual event, by invitation only. Open to adult hunters who lack this experience. Adults new to hunting will get priority placement.

What is the purpose of this program?
The program aims to teach adults who are new to hunting how to hunt the renowned North Carolina white-tailed deer. Beyond deer hunting strategy, learn about wildlife habitat, deer herd management, ethical hunting practices, field safety, and more.
Who can participate in this program?
Any adult with an interest in hunting, outdoor activities, wildlife management, sustainable living, cooking, and food preparation can participate in this program.
Hands-on field events are limited to adults who are new to deer hunting and lack local friends or family to show them how. Class size is limited. Priority admission is offered to adults who want to use their new skills to teach others.
Are there any age restrictions for participation?
Participants must be at least 18 years old to join the program.
